"So do you suppose that we created you for messing around (only) and that you would not return to us?" (Surah Al Mu'minun: 115)
Word of ALLAH others:
"Does man think that he will be left in vain like that?" (Surah Al Qiyamah: 36)
Just as ALLAH created the jinn and human beings have a definite purpose is to worship Allah. As word of ALLAH:
"And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me" (QS. Adz Dzariyat: 56)
As to the question "Did ALLAH create ugliness? And whether the objectives the creation of a disaster or badness? "
That's right, ALLAH has created both good and evil. For it is ALLAH who created all things. And ALLAH has been agree, as in the Al Falaq. He says:
"Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn. Of all the evil that He has created "(Surah Al Falaq: 1-2)
And this is justified by the Prophet who took refuge from the evils of day and night when he say the dhikr morning and evening. Prophet Muhammad shallahu alaihi wa sallam said: "And I seek refuge from the evil of this day and the next day the crime" (HR Muslim)
And it is clear that "the day" is the creation of ALLAH subhanahu wa ta'ala. For that we are not allowed to denounce the day or period because it is a creation of ALLAH. As word of the Prophet: "Allah said : "Son of Adam insult me, they denounced the past and I was the one who created the time, I was flipping through the day and night" (Surah Al-Isra: 85)
About the purpose, you should know. Behold the lesson of his creation, sometimes we know it and sometimes we do not know those lessons. But all the bad things that ALLAH create, there must be lesson. Since we are only given by GOD science slightly -sometime know the lesson and sometimes do not know- as ta'ala GOD says: "And you weren't given knowledge by him except only slightly"
But every creature of God whether is good or bad certainly have lesson. Because ALLAH says:
"And ALLAH is holy (knowing) and omnipotent judge" (Surat al-Hajj: 52). And Al Hakim means: who has a high wisdom in His creation and His commandments, which would enhance his creation.
So ALLAH created the ugliness sometimes we know the lesson and purpose, and sometimes we do not know.
Example: The accident that happened to a Muslim. Obviously that disasters like floods, fires, landslides, etc. is something bad. However, ALLAH possessed wisdom behind it all, like to remind His servants to return to ALLAH or to strengthen the faith and confidence of a servant to his Lord, GOD subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Thus the person who most getting many suffering is a prophet, and righteous people. And the lesson is to strengthen their faith and increase their reward in this world and in the hereafter. As the Prophet shallahu alaihi wa sallam said: "The real men with hardest suffering are the prophets, righteous people and such that and such that" ( HR Tirmidhi, Ahmad, Ibn Majah, etc.)
Hopefully this brief explanation can illuminate the hearts of us all. Allahu ta'ala knows best.
